"Chablis hits the wall"

Who wouldn't know that the town of Chablis produces one of the most famous wines in the world, and that it has a particular attraction for contemporary art?

At the June exhibition at the collegiate church, organised by the Association for the Promotion of Contemporary Art, a jury selected 36 works for the "Chablis hits the wall" event.

Each of these works has been reproduced in a very large format to be hung on the town's walls until 31 October.

Among the works, you can see one of mine, hanging very close to the town hall: "Tenter de comprendre Picasso".

A sculpture on the cover

On the cover : "En passant chez Buffet"

A former lawyer and magistrate, Jean-Philippe de Garate has experienced tragedies and life stories at first hand.

In this book, he evokes the tragedy of missing relatives (children, elderly adults, etc.), who are searched for by all means, for months, sometimes years.

In this story, the father of the missing child, psychologically shattered, gives up everything, including his job as a history teacher, for the travelling circus.

He becomes the white clown.

Permanent exhibitions in France

"L'épicurien,

inspiré de Gérard Depardieu"

"Tenter de comprendre Picasso X"

"Rafaël"

My heartfelt thanks go to Juliette, Blandine, Cyril and Gilles, who have my sculptures on permanent display.

If you travel to their lands, go there, you'll be made very welcome!

It was in June in Blaye

Artists, partners and volunteers at the "Art et conversation" event in Blaye

Admittedly, it's now August, but I really want to take a look back at this totally magical artistic event that took place in Blaye, near Bordeaux, in June.

Imagine 26 artists exhibited in the heart of Blaye, charming volunteers, committed partners and superbly efficient organisers... All these human ingredients were deployed to open up contemporary art to the public. An attentive public, open to sharing.

This third edition of "Art & conversation" was a real success!

I hope you'll be able to take part in the next one in June 2024.

At the workshop, work is progressing!
