I am deeply honoured to have been invited to exhibit at this 48th “Libre expression” art fair.
In a 700 m² space, there will be 20 contemporary artists: painters, engravers, photographers, installation artists… and two ceramicists.
I would like to share an excerpt from the foreword by the chair, Claudine Bougas, which reflects the organisers’ philosophy:
“In these uncertain times, it is good to visit exhibition venues, engage with artists and acquire their art. Their art has the power to inspire us, to lift us out of the prevailing gloom, to restore our lost emotions, and if there is one realm that has always been our refuge in the darkest of times, it is art!”
Chécy is situated on the banks of the Loire and along the Canal d’Orléans... You can join us by bike!
From its rich wine-growing past, this little village still boasts some fine buildings.
